Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator for the Sumter, SC facility. Hours are Friday–Sunday, 5am–5pm, with an hourly rate of 19.25/hr and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of machine operation experience (or machine certificate), and residency within 50 miles of Sumter. Safety and quality come first as you work with blueprints and various machinery.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• At least 1 year of machine operator experience or a machine certificate.
• Residence within 50 miles of Sumter facility; no relocation benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines from blueprints per specifications.
• Meet safety, quality and productivity goals; perform maintenance.
• Measure finished parts and inspect for nonconformities.
• Cross-train and stand in for other roles as needed.
