Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Material Handler Front Storeroom in Sumter, SC. Shift is Mon-Fri, 5am-1:30pm, with an hourly rate around $17.50. You will handle material flow in the front/back storeroom, cycle counts, labeling and shipping, while ensuring safety and quality across production lines.

Responsibilities include receiving, staging, and issuing materials, supporting assembly, and maintaining organized work areas per 5S standards. No relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift and crane operation experience to move equipment and materials.
• Broad knowledge of materials planning, receiving, shipping, and tracking systems.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within Sumter, SC area (within 50 miles) and be eligible to work in the US.
• Lean concepts knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue materials to meet production needs.
• Analyze cycle count data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Support assembly and fabrication requirements for materials.
• Package, label and prepare items for shipment or staging.
• Follow safety, 5S and PPE requirements and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and comply with quality guidelines.
