Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC seeks a Material Handler-Forklift Operator for 1st shift. You will support shipping by moving materials, counting inventory, and ensuring timely production inputs.

The role requires forklift experience, knowledge of shipping/receiving processes, and accuracy in documentation. This position offers steady hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, and salary guidance at about $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Sumter, SC.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Forklift/crane experience in materials handling.
• Experience with shipping and receiving logistics.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to move equipment and materials.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue materials for production.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support planning, scheduling, and shipping in front/back storeroom.
• Ensure safety standards and 5S organization in work areas.
