Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong communication with drivers and customers.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in stressful situations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow established procedures while adapting to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work weekends, days, and/or nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to the right locations.
• Monitor truck locations and adjust as needed.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers during shifts.
• Coordinate with disposal facilities and customers.
• Answer incoming calls and respond quickly to changing conditions.
• Use GPS, mapping systems, and tank level reports to make informed decisions.
• Provide a smooth handoff to the next dispatcher at shift change.
• Be the calm voice that keeps operations moving when busy.
