Job summary

Arbour Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Activity Therapist for weekends (16 hours) to support inpatient behavioral health units. You will perform activity therapy assessment, facilitate groups, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field, and at least 6 months of group leadership experience in psychiatric settings. Excellent documentation and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field is required.
• 6 months experience as a group leader in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient treatment program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals.
• Facilitate 4 groups per day.
• Complete group documentation and communicate with other treatment team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
