Arbour Hospital is seeking an Activity Therapist to join our inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team for weekend coverage (16 hours). The role focuses on expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities on inpatient psychiatric units.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or in a related field required.
• 6 months experience as a group leader in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient treatment program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals.
• Facilitate 4 groups per day.
• Complete group documentation and communicate with other members of the treatment team via treatment planning and team meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
