Job summary

Arbour Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an Activity Therapist for weekend, part-time coverage in our inpatient psychiatric units in the greater Boston area. You will join an multidisciplinary team to provide expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities aligned with treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field required.
• 6 months experience as a group leader in psychiatric settings preferred.
• Experience working on inpatient behavioral health units is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop treatment goals.
• Facilitate multiple groups per day.
• Complete group documentation and communicate with treatment team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
