Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a Day Porter to perform custodial duties at a facility in Cary, NC. Schedule is Saturday and Sunday 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with pay of $15.00 per hour. The role involves cleaning ~4,500–5,000 sq ft per hour and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices and restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies, and reporting hazards. High school diploma preferred and ~6 months of related experience may be advantageous.

Qualifications

• English language comprehension and verbal instruction ability.
• Six months of related custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks professionally to reflect the company's integrity.
• Cleans offices, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways to sanitary standards.
• Mops and sweeps as needed.
• Vacuums carpets in break rooms, offices, elevators, and stairs.
• Dusts furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, trim and related furnishings; uses safety pole for high dusting.
• Empties trash; disposes of paper and debris as directed; removes waste to appropriate container.
• Replenishes rest room supplies; cleans and disinfects lavatories and locker rooms.
• Maintains high quality service standards; completes own work with normal supervision.
• Performs other duties as directed; follows safety procedures and PPE use.
• Keeps custodial closet locked and halls clear; reports hazards to supervisor.
• Completes additional duties as assigned.
