Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a Day Porter to perform custodial work at a Raleigh-area facility. The role runs on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour and a 16-hour weekly schedule.

The position emphasizes cleaning diverse spaces and maintaining a sanitary environment for tenants and visitors. Responsibilities include routine office cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies, and adhering to safety procedures while wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months related experience preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to communicate in and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of office areas, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and all other areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Mops and sweeps as needed.
• Vacuums carpets at designated areas such as break rooms, elevators, offices, escalators, and stairs.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings as requested by the supervisor.
