Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a part-time General Cleaner to perform custodial duties for a facility in Knightdale, NC. The role requires cleaning approximately 4,500–5,000 sq ft per hour and rotating shifts including Saturdays and Sundays, 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with at least six months of related experience. The job includes cleaning offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas; following safety protocols and wearing company uniform and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is preferred.
• Six months of related experience is preferred.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned custodial tasks to reflect the highest integrity of the Company.
• Cleans offices, lobbies, breakrooms, corridors, bathrooms and elevators.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms including toilets and restocking supplies.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings.
• Collects recyclable and non-recyclable waste and replaces trash can liners.
• Vacuums carpets in traffic areas and removes visible debris.
• Locks/unlocks doors, turns off lights when rooms are unoccupied.
• Follows safety procedures and uses PPE; reports hazards.
• Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
