Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead customer product lines in our electronics manufacturing facility. The role focuses on daily production oversight, line quality, safety, and maximizing team efficiency at a high‑volume site in Richardson, TX.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of industry experience, including EMS exposure and familiarity with liquid cooling components or data center rack integration, and will possess at least an associate degree or equivalent technical

Qualifications

4–6 years of relevant experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and familiarity with complex system assembly, liquid cooling components or data center rack integration.
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field (engineering, manufacturing technology) is preferred.
Proven ability to manage, train and motivate line personnel to achieve production goals in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

Forecasting: contribute to monthly forecasts and own daily/weekly output and quality targets.
Daily operational oversight: receive production plans, coordinate personnel and materials to ensure daily production goals (volume, quality and deadlines) are met.
Line management and efficiency: directly manage and monitor production lines for the assembly of complex systems, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and process issues in real time.
Quality and compliance: enforce quality standards, perform in‑line inspections, collaborate with the Quality team to address defects, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions (8D).
Communication: effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
Team leadership: lead, instruct, mentor and motivate frontline production staff; manage shift schedules, attendance and performance evaluations.
Safety: enforce all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and regulations.
Continuous improvement: support and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen) at the line level to improve efficiency, ergonomics and reduce scrap.
