Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee production lines in our Texas electronics manufacturing facility. The role focuses on complex assembly, including liquid cooling components and data center racks, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6+ years in high-volume manufacturing, with at least 2 years in supervision.
• EMS experience with complex system assembly, including liquid cooling components or data center rack integration.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent in engineering or manufacturing preferred.
• Proven ability to train and motivate line personnel to achieve production goals.
• Solid understanding of electronic assembly processes and production tools.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Forecast daily/weekly output and quality targets.
• Coordinate personnel and materials to meet daily production plans.
• Directly manage production lines for complex systems assembly and resolve bottlenecks.
• Enforce quality standards; perform inline inspections and root cause analysis.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate frontline production staff; manage shifts.
• Enforce Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
• Support Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen) to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
