Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients and families with empathy and urgency.
• Complete patient registration, check-in, and discharge processes.
• Verify and update demographic and insurance information for timely care and billing.
• Answer calls and address scheduling needs and general inquiries.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and navigation.
• Communicate important patient information to ED team.
• Process copays and related payments per guidelines.
• Assist with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Schedule referrals and follow-up appointments as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and manage work queues.
