Job summary

Venture-Community-Service in Webster, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a highly behavioral residential home. You will assist with daily living activities and accompany medical appointments, helping participants engage with the community.

Responsibilities

• advocating and supporting adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be active in their lives, including household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.
• assist them to medical appointments, banking, become active community members, attend outings, administer medications, follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and follow medical guidelines.
• maintain certifications, follow DDS regulations/policies, and evacuate individuals safely in emergencies.
