Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Massachusetts for part-time shifts including weekends. You will support adults with disabilities with daily activities, accompany them to appointments, and follow support plans to help them participate more fully in their communities.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, personal care and appointments.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines.
• Safe evacuation of individuals from the home in emergencies and compliance with policies.
