Job summary

Venture-Community-Service in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The DSP will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments, and help them participate fully in their community, aligning with Individual Support Plans and goals.

Shifts run Sun 9a-5p and Mon 2p-10p, totaling 16 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Advocating and supporting adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and daily routines.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, banking, community activities, and outings; follow support plans and medical guidelines.
