Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. in Webster, MA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will support daily living activities, accompany outings, and help individuals follow individualized plans.

Paid new-employee orientation, CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, MAP, and other program trainings are provided. Sign-on bonuses are offered for full-time and part-time staff; schedule includes evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities and empower them to be active in daily life.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, shopping, appointments, banking and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and medical guidelines and maintain required certifications.
