Job summary

Support Solutions offers a Direct Support Professional role for Saturday and Sunday night shifts (7PM–7AM) in Tennessee. You will empower individuals with disabilities, support daily living activities, and help them live self-directed lives in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include personal care, transportation, documentation, meal preparation, medication oversight, and confidentiality. We value clear communication, reliability, and person-centered supports as part of our mission.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle heavy workloads.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Must maintain confidentiality in all matters related to clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the person served with personal care and daily routines, aligned with the ISP goals.
• Provide safe transport and accompany the person to events, job sites, and medical appointments using agency or personal vehicles or public transit.
• Ensure proper use of agency resources including funds, vehicles, buildings, and equipment.
• Attend training meetings as assigned by Support Solutions.
• Cook and provide meals based on scheduled menus.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Document daily shift notes in the electronic records system as required.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by following Customer Service Standards in interactions with families and staff.
• Oversee storage and administration of medications as directed.
• Assist with personal grooming, house cleaning, and laundry as requested by the person served.
• Protect confidentiality of the person served.
