Job summary

Support Solutions in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 7 PM. The role emphasizes personal care, community integration, and daily living skills development.

A sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days of service, with additional referral bonuses for successful hires. Employees are expected to provide respectful, confidential support, document progress, and contribute to a safe, healthy living

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age and able to read and write effectively.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record throughout employment.
Must meet state and local background checks and training requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care and daily routines per the ISP.
Respect the person’s choices and promote self-directed living.
Help the person engage with community and build relationships.
Provide safe transport to events, job sites, and appointments using agency or public transport.
Maintain confidentiality of information and follow agency policies.
Assist with meals, housekeeping, and activities of daily living as directed.
Document daily shift notes and support progress toward outcomes.
