Job summary

Creative Foundations, a Help at Home company, is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Power Weekend shifts (24-40 hours). Shifts begin Friday afternoon and run through Monday morning, with pay of $18/hour waking and $11/hour sleep shifts.

As a DSP you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities, assisting with daily living, social activities, personal goals, and documentation, while prioritizing safety, dignity, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 21 years old.
• Med Cert 1.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities—both at home and in their community.
• Help with daily living activities: cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help people achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Document care, activities, and progress.
• Communicate with team members to ensure quality support.
