Job summary

Friendship Community Care Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in home and community settings. You will assist clients with daily activities, prepare meals, manage transportation, and document progress in care records.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable), a valid Arkansas driver’s license, and 2+ years of relevant experience. You will follow plans of care, support health and safety, and uphold HIPAA policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Two+ years' experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license is required.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic living skills and daily personal tasks.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments.
• Complete and maintain required documentation and care records.
• Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors about client progress.
• Assist in Plan of Care development and medication monitoring as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
