Job summary

Viega LLC in McPherson, Kansas is seeking a Lead, DC Team Member for the weekend shift to coordinate receiving, storing, packing and shipping of merchandise. You will help prepare schedules, monitor workload, and participate in staffing decisions, while ensuring SAP/Viad@t accuracy.

This role requires 4-5 years of warehouse experience, leadership ability, and proficiency with Kronos and Microsoft Office. Expect 5S compliance and teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of warehouse experience.
• Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred.
• Lean experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day activities involving receiving, storing, packing and shipping of merchandise and materials.
• Assists in preparing work schedules and ensures adequate personnel to meet workflow requirements.
• Trains personnel and may recommend staffing changes or training needs.
• Assists Supervisor with Kronos activities including tracking hours and vacation/sick leave.
• Maintains 5S standards and ensures accuracy in SAP/Viad@t and shipping processes.
