Job summary

Viega in McPherson, KS is seeking a Lead, DC Team Member to coordinate receiving, storing, packing and shipping, and to help schedule and staff the operation. The role emphasizes SAP validation, 5S and quality controls while guiding the team to meet productivity standards.

You will work with forklift equipment, supervise Kronos timekeeping, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes within a safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of warehouse experience.
• Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred.
• Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities involving receiving, storing, packing and shipping of merchandise and materials; assist in preparing work schedules and ensure adequate personnel to meet workflow requirements.
• Train personnel as needed; instruct personnel and/or demonstrate methods to complete work assignments.
• Make recommendations regarding staffing, promotions, terminations and training for assigned area.
• Assist Supervisor with Kronos activities, including tracking hours and vacation/sick leave.
