Job summary

Arvato, a leading global 3PL, is seeking a Shipping Team Lead to oversee daily operations in the Shipping department, handle paperwork for warehouse received goods, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the area.

You will monitor performance and attendance for team members, participate in process improvements, and uphold 7S guidelines while adapting to overtime and weekend requirements in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• Shipping experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Safety knowledge.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced packaging environment.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shipping department.
• Track performance and attendance for shipping personnel.
• Ensure safety, organization and cleanliness in the shipping area.
• Follow and maintain 7S program and guidelines.
• Handle all paperwork pertaining to merchandise received in the warehouse.
• Assist with additional tasks to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment.
