Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a Weekend Shift Operations Manager to oversee the Distribution Center in Sparks, NV. You will lead daily operations, drive improvements in accuracy, safety, and productivity, and coordinate plans with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands.

You will guide audits, support Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and mentor staff to achieve operational excellence. This role requires 5+ years of DC leadership and a strategic mindset to plan 3–6 months ahead.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Demonstrated results through a team.
• Passion for staff engagement and morale.
• Teamwork and communication across all levels.
• Strategic mindset with 3–6 months planning.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• Manhattan WM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own EHS framework elements, lead audit activities and ensure corrective actions.
• Drive compliance with certifying and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance for operations and equipment.
• Lead daily production meetings and coordinate production plans.
• Develop long-term plans to mitigate risks and improve on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams to set delivery priorities.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor Lean Six Sigma usage.
• Conduct capacity studies and support resource requests.
