Job summary

Foot Locker in Sparks, NV seeks an Operations Trainer for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10pm–6:30am) to train and cross-train new hires and associates in all facility functions, while modeling the company core values and safety practices.

You will deliver classroom, small group, and on-the-job training, provide performance feedback, update materials, and coordinate with supervisors to resolve trainee issues, contributing to a culture of service, standards, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in presenting or learning facilitation or leadership preferred.
• Distribution center experience (6 months) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong reading, writing, math, and data analysis skills.
• English communication literacy required and safety instruction comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom, small group, and on-the-job training.
• Provide performance feedback and follow-ups with trainees.
• Complete Training Checklist and track attendance and documentation.
• Coordinate with training department and supervisors on trainee issues and disciplinary needs.
• Create, review, and update training materials aligned with company core values.
• Assist with productivity and develop skills to train within the department.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures.
