Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I in Kannapolis, NC. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment, verify orders, and prepare patients with clear explanations. The role includes weekend duties (Fri/Sat/Sun, 7:00am–7:00pm) and requires ARRT/NMTCB CT registry within one year, plus BLS.

Sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates. Strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork within Radiology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients and prepare them for the procedure with explanations.
• Interviews patients, reviews EMR for history, and documents pertinent data.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment with proficiency.
• Maintain radiation safety and assist in procedures as needed.
