Job summary

Advocate Health Ballantyne Emergency Department in Charlotte seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT scans per established protocols, operating scanners and related equipment with a high level of proficiency.

The role requires ARRT radiology or NMTCB CT certification within one year of hire, BLS, and delivers a 36-hour work week with a pay range of $33.05-$49.60 per hour. A sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and CT within one year of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners per departmental protocols with proficiency.
• Identifies patient information and explains procedures clearly.
• Reviews clinical history and documents findings in the EMR and MAR.
