Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I for the Atrium Health Cabarrus location in Kannapolis. The role performs CT procedures with strict adherence to protocols and radiology safety, operating scanners and related equipment while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining history, coordinating with radiologists, and rotating shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine required.
• ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist and prepare patients for CT procedures.
• Identify patients and explain exams; document history and pertinent data.
• Assist in CT scanning and image quality evaluation; communicate findings as needed.
• Operate radiology systems and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Rotate shifts including weekends; adhere to attendance and safety policies.
• Assist in emergencies and support other medical personnel during CT exams.
