Job summary

Advocate Health in Kannapolis is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment with high proficiency. The position involves verifying orders, preparing patients, obtaining history, and assisting Radiologists during procedures.

Expect weekend night shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun, 7p-7:30a) with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a standard benefits package. Education includes ARRT/NMTCB CT credential and BLS compliance.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT Scanners and related equipment with high proficiency.
• Examines requests and verifies orders.
• Interprets and documents patient information and history.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintains safety and sterile procedures and reports equipment issues.
