Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a CT Technologist I to provide CT imaging services in a fast-paced ED. You will operate CT scanners, administer IV contrast, and work with Radiologists to ensure accurate studies and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT certification and a two-year radiologic/nuclear medicine program, CPR, and willingness to rotate shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic or nuclear medicine program required.
• ARRT radiology certification required.
• NMTCB nuclear medicine certification required.
• ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Aufgaben

• Verify exam orders with radiologist and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify patient with two identifiers and explain the procedure.
• Review patient history and EMR for pertinent data.
• Perform CT scans and prepare/maintain equipment and contrast.
• Ensure patient safety and assist in emergencies as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and wear radiation safety gear.
