Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in the Steele Creek Emergency Department. This part-time role requires weekend night shifts and rotating call, with proficiency in operating CT scanners and related equipment.

The position supports patient care from pre-procedure to post-procedure, including IV contrast administration and collaboration with radiologists. Candidates should have ARRT/NMTCB credentials and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology, or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Verify orders with radiologist; resolve discrepancies before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Interview patients to collect medical history and review EMR data for clinical history.
• Perform CT scanning and post-processing; monitor patient during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and assist in invasive procedures as needed.
