Job summary

Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department, a facility of Atrium Health Pineville, seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with high proficiency. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and ensure accurate communication with Radiologists and referring physicians.

Position requires ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire, plus BLS. Expect rotating shifts and adherence to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment following departmental protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and reference any discrepancies.
• Gather patient history and prepare patients for CT exams.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor patient response per protocol.
• Maintain safety standards and assist with sterile technique during procedures.

Education

Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program
