Job summary

Atrium Health Providence Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC is looking for a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and support emergency imaging services. You will prepare patients, document procedures, and assist Radiologists while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB radiology certification with ARRT CT registry within one year of hire and BLS certification. You will work in a variable, PRN schedule with rotating shifts in a fast-paced ED environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners and related equipment per department protocols.
• Examines and verifies orders, prepares patients, and documents procedures.
• Maintains imaging quality and ensures radiation safety protocols are followed.
• Rotates shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends.
• Provides basic patient care and assists Radiologist during exams.

Education

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire
