Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Florida is seeking a Weekend Cook to support Saturdays and Sundays in our scratch-based kitchen, preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner to meet resident preferences. You’ll deliver meals that are safely cooked, visually appealing, and portioned for variety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Available to work Saturdays and Sundays for 8 hours daily.
Able to read, speak, and understand basic English.
Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
Must obtain food handler permits within 2 weeks of starting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking a wide variety of proteins and vegetables, ensuring plates look appealing.
Contribute ideas during meetings and stay open to feedback; maintain service line coverage during meals.
Complete opening and closing tasks for each shift; assist teammates to keep kitchen clean and organized.
Keep stations stocked and organized; refresh pantry items and monitor refrigeration.
Ensure a sanitary kitchen by cleaning areas and equipment and recording temperatures.
