Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Weekend Cook to assist on Saturdays and Sundays in our scratch-based kitchen. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner per schedule, ensuring safe temperatures, appealing presentation, and portioning to resident preferences.

You will build positive relationships with residents, guests, and team members to create a warm, welcoming weekend atmosphere. Prior experience is preferred, and you must be able to obtain a local food handler permit within two

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Weekend availability: Saturdays and Sundays, at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Ability to obtain local food handler permits within two weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes using broiling, grilling, frying, and sautéing.
• Contribute ideas during meetings and stay attentive to service line during meals.
• Complete opening and closing tasks, mornings and end-of-day shutdown, with teammates.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, refresh pantry items, monitor refrigeration.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and recording temps.
