Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Florida is seeking a Cook to deliver lunch and dinner in a scratch-based kitchen, preparing entrées and sides with care to ensure plate quality and appealing presentation. You will build positive relationships with residents, guests, and teammates to foster a warm dining atmosphere.

The role requires food handling readiness and a willingness to work a Thursday–Monday schedule, with potential AM shift coverage. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Schedule Thursday-Monday before lunch through dinner and willing to work AM shift as needed.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Ability to secure food handler permits as required within two weeks of start.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking proteins and vegetables using broiling, grilling, frying, and sautéing.
• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas during meetings and staying attentive during service hours.
• Complete all opening and closing tasks for each shift and help teammates to keep a clean, safe kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, refresh pantry items, and monitor refrigeration.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen by cleaning areas and recording temperatures.
