Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Weekend Cook to step in every Saturday and Sunday in our scratch-based kitchen. You’ll prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner as scheduled, ensuring meals are safely cooked, visually appealing, and portioned to resident preferences while building warm relationships with residents and guests.

In this role you’ll keep stations stocked and organized, support the service line during meal hours, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available Saturdays and Sundays, 8 hours per day.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes by cooking proteins and vegetables, ensuring each plate looks appealing.
• Engage in continuous improvemenft by contributing ideas during meetings, and stay open to feedback during service.
• Complete opening and closing tasks for each shift, and support teammates to keep the kitchen clean and safe.
• Keep stations fully stocked and organized with fresh pantry items and proper refrigeration.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and checking temperatures.
