Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Relief Cook to cover weekend service in our scratch-based kitchen, preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner to maintain a high-quality dining experience for residents. You will work Saturdays and Sundays, eight hours per day, creating meals that are safely cooked, visually appealing, and portioned to preferences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Ability to secure food handler permits within two weeks of first day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking proteins and vegetables using broiling, grilling, frying, and sautéing.
• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas and staying attentive during service.
• Complete all opening and closing tasks, supporting teammates to keep a clean, safe kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized with fresh pantry items and monitored refrigeration.
• Ensure a sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and recording temperatures as required.
