Job summary

Sodexo at Dickinson State University is seeking a Cook I to prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and cold foods for all meals and events, in line with Sodexo’s culinary standards.

In a fast-paced campus kitchen, you’ll work weekends only with on-site hours, uphold food safety and sanitation, keep a clean workstation, and support kitchen teamwork. Previous food-handling experience is helpful, and you may lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Basic knowledge of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold foods per standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for a variety of items.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and uphold safety standards.
• Assist with production planning and inventory as needed.
