Job summary

Marvin in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production equipment. You will analyze equipment, implement repairs, and tune PLC programming to improve reliability.

Training on day shift for up to 2 months before moving to Weekend shift. Our facility offers health insurance from day one, paid time off, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits program including a wellness account and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical education preferred
• 2 years in a related role required
• Forklift and aerial platform licenses required
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software preferred

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and service needs
• Use ladder logic with Allen-Bradley PLCs to troubleshoot and modify programming
• Document repairs and PMs in the plant maintenance system
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements
• Maintain PLC backups and verify system performance
