Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician for its Kansas City, KS facility to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment and implement repairs to boost reliability.

The role begins with day-shift training for up to two months before transitioning to the Weekend shift, with a Friday–Sunday 6:00am–6:00pm schedule and benefits including health insurance from day one, PTO, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role
• Associate's degree in a technical-related field preferred
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Observe installed equipment to detect hazards and service needs
• Use ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RSLogix, RSLogix 500/5000
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the plant using EAM
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and servo systems
• Assist with PLC support across the plant
• Record and document set-points and parameters accurately
