Marvin is hiring a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production machines in Kansas City, KS. The role includes programming with Allen Bradley RS Logix platforms, maintaining EC/motor control, and supporting machine improvements with CEPG.

The position starts on day shift training for up to 2 months, with a Friday–Sunday schedule on the Weekend shift. Marvin offers health insurance from day one, PTO, holidays, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in a closely related role required.
Associate’s degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Observe equipment to detect hazards and service needs, and repair electrical or mechanical components.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues; implement programming changes as needed.
Document repairs and preventative maintenance using the workorder system (EAM).
Back up programs from electrical devices and maintain system performance under operating conditions.
Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements and provide PLC support across the plant.
