Job summary

Marvin seeks a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment at our Kansas City facility. You’ll analyze equipment, perform repairs, and implement PLC changes to improve reliability.

Expect training on days for up to 2 months, then weekend shifts Fri-Sun. Competitive benefits include health insurance from day one, PTO, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Forklift and aerial platform licenses required.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and PLC problems on production equipment.
• Utilize ladder logic with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000 as needed.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the EAM system.
• Set up servo controls and drive operation parameters.
• Support CEPG on machine improvements and PLC issues plant-wide.
