Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician in the Kansas City area to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production machines. You will program Allen-Bradley PLCs, maintain equipment health, and document repairs.

Requires 2+ years in a related role and an associate’s degree is preferred. Forklift and aerial platform licenses are needed. Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm shift with strong benefits and sign-on bonus included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a closely related role is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field is strongly preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production equipment.
• Analyze equipment and perform necessary repairs to improve reliability.
• Document repairs, set-points, and parameters; maintain backups of programs.
• Support CEPG for machine improvements and PLC-related fixes.
