Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Town of Florida, NY is seeking an attentive part-time concierge-style assistant for weekend evenings (Sat and Sun 3pm–10pm). You will greet residents, assist visitors and families, answer calls, and help keep the community running smoothly.

You will monitor safety, process reports, receive packages, maintain logs, and support other departments. Strong English, friendly demeanor, and good computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) are required.

Qualifications

• Three months of related experience preferred.
• Clear and effective English communication.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and make independent decisions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and assist visitors and families.
• Answer telephone calls.
• Monitor safety and investigate unusual activity as needed.
• Process reports for work orders and incidents.
• Receive, deliver, or hold packages and other items.
• Maintain sign-in/out log for keys and passes.
• Assist other departments with administrative tasks.
• Provide timely responses to resident, family, and employee concerns.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents and coworkers.
