Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Coating Operator in Windsor, CT to set up and run coating machines, applying adhesive to release liners and substrates. You will manage both wet and dry ends, maintain a cleanroom appearance, and ensure product quality according to specifications.

The role involves material handling, data entry, changeovers, basic maintenance, and adherence to ISO procedures, with a 5:45am–6:00pm Friday–Sunday schedule and a 10% shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Basic math and reading skills; ability to use measuring devices.
• Good computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Uses materials to clean coating machine for process prep and to ensure product quality.
• Prepares raw materials for coating process at the assigned machine.
• Operates the coating machine, managing wet and dry ends and related functions.
• Enters data into the computer system and ensures inventory accuracy for each job.
• Ensures machine changeovers, cleaning, maintenance, and safe operation.
• Communicates shift start and handoffs to minimize downtime and issues.
• Trains new coater operators and assistants on responsibilities.
• Maintains cell and department housekeeping and promotes teamwork.
