Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking an experienced machining manufacturing professional for our Loves Park, IL campus. This role supports weekend 1st shift operations (Friday-Sunday 3am-3:30pm) with Level 2 responsibilities and opportunities to advance to Level 3.

Training begins immediately, with initial M-F sessions, followed by variable hours in week 3. Candidates should be proficient with SOPs, lean practices, and teamwork, and capable of maintaining quality while following standard work.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow documented procedures and SOPs.
• Willingness to train and mentor others.
• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes or ID/OD grinders preferred for Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Follows documented procedures and supports training of other members.
• Maintains key process variables and logs daily operations.
• Participates in 5S and Lean initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Ensures safety and quality in production processes.
