Civitas Senior Living in Legacy Oaks of Midlothian, TX is seeking a Senior Living Activity Assistant to create joy and engagement for our residents. You will host daily activities, use the community vehicle for transport, and welcome residents to build a connected community.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and ongoing training, with opportunities for growth and a holistic benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a similar role.
• Degree in psychology or kinesiology preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Host daily activities and interactive sessions for residents.
• Use the community vehicle to transport residents as needed.
• Educate, train, and encourage team members on personalized activity opportunities.
• Meet and greet each resident on move-in to foster community bonding.
• Decorate common areas for events and holidays.
• Take attendance and photographs of daily activities.
• Ensure adherence to regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Attend training sessions and engage in continuous learning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Senior Living Activity Assistant Responsibilities

• Active Engagement: Host daily activities and interactive sessions for residents.
• Safe Transportation: Use the community vehicle to transport residents as needed.
