Job summary

Civitas Senior Living is seeking a Senior Living Activity Assistant to lead daily activities and engage residents at Ledgestone Senior Living in Dripping Springs, TX.

You’ll transport residents as needed, support team development, and help create welcoming environments during events and move-ins. A compassionate mindset and basic tech skills are essential for daily documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Heart for seniors with compassion and enthusiasm for senior care.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role; psychology or kinesiology degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to connect and engage residents.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills to navigate schedules and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Host daily activities and interactive sessions for residents.
• Use the community vehicle to transport residents as needed.
• Educates, trains, and encourages team members on personalized activity opportunities.
• Meet and greet each resident upon move-in to foster community bonding.
• Decorate common areas for special events and holidays.
• Take attendance and photographs of daily activities for records.
• Ensure understanding and adherence to regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Attend training sessions and engage in continuous learning.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Senior Living Activity Assistant Responsibilities
